The NGIN services are available to mobile, fixed, and IP extensions as well as softphones allowing the possibility to provide a truly convergent service offering that a total communication provider needs.
Several device types each with their own numbers can be integrated together to allow the NGIN services such as Mobile Office and the VPN to work in the same way on all devices: the subscriber has a single voice mailbox and the same settings for call restrictions, call forwarding, etc.
Dual Mode Devices
Dual Mode Device support allows subscribers to be able to use combination GSM/SIP phones integrated with the MO and/or VPN subscriptions. The service keeps track of which mode is active and routes traffic accordingly.
Up
Softphone Integration
The Softphone service allows subscribers to associate a softphone (on a PC or PDA) to a mobile subscription, which can even be integrated with a MO and/or VPN subscription.
The softphone can be used for voice or video calls, can break out to a mobile or wireline network, and incoming calls can be redirected to either the mobile or the softphone depending on the availability of each, and using either dual ringing or sequential ringing.
In addition, the softphone supports Instant Messaging and sending SMS.
Up
MultiSIM
The MultiSIM services allows one subscriber to have several mobile devices (mobile phone, car phone, PDA phone, data cards, etc.) that all work independently but use the same contact number. All of the devices are independent and can be used simultaneously to make calls.
For incoming calls, the subscriber can choose the order that the devices are alerted. The devices will ring sequentially until one of them answers. If no device answers, normal call forwarding to voicemail is applied.

Prepaid/Postpaid Convergence
All of the NGIN services can be provided to either postpaid or prepaid subscribers.
